2
and 3 Year Old Class
The Mill Pond provides a part-time or full-day program that enriches learning opportunities for 2 and 3 year olds. At this age the child is learning social skills, learning to interact with other children, as well as developing gross and fine motor skills, verbal expression and independence. Circle time, story time, number, color, shape, and letter recognition are all incorporated into our daily curriculum.

4 and 5 Year Old Class
Age-integrated classrooms for our oldest preschoolers invite cooperative learning. As a 4 or 5 year old enter this classroom the child begins a journey of learning through a multi-sensory approach. Interest areas promote skills of self-discipline, decision making and negotiation; the teachers promote problem-solving abilities, positive conflict resolution patterns, and positive self-esteem. Hands-on projects are also done on a daily basis to foster numbers, letters, colors and shapes. Math and reading readiness are also explored along the phonics.
The children are exposed to Spanish, French, and sign language in circle time.
